Anwar Awad, a prominent figure in the tech industry, serves as the Chairman at GGateway. With a career spanning over three decades, Anwar has made impactful contributions in strategic leadership roles within the technology sector.
Before joining GGateway, Anwar held significant positions at Toshiba America, Synopsys, and Intel Corporation. His tenure at Intel as GM and VP of the Design Engineering Group was marked by strategic transformations in design and methodology. At Synopsys, he led the successful development of mixed signal IP product lines and initiated pioneering global engineering initiatives.
Anwar earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan. His areas of expertise include Mixed Signal, Semiconductors, Information Security Management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Verilog.
In his role as Chairman of GGateway, Anwar brings his strategic acumen and collaborative leadership style, significantly influencing the organization’s strategic direction and driving its mission towards continued success in the tech industry.
